๐ Citroen C4 Picasso Boot Wont Open
LEDs are generally brighter, longer lasting and don't produce a sickly yellow light. I've upgraded all of my torches to LEDs, but my DS4 came with an incandescent torch. Something must be done! According to my stash of brochures, this applies to the following: C4 mk2 Exclusive. C4 Picasso mk2 Exclusive & Exclusive+.
Hi, I don't know if anybody has had this problem and sorted it out but any help would be appreciated, firstly the little springs in the boot handle switch disappeared so I replaced them, on closing the boot it wouldn't reopen, so I shorted the 2 terminals of the wire connected to the switch and the latch opened, reconnected the wiring, then nothing wouldn't reopen again, so after much head
Open the passenger door, and look at the side of the dash board. There should be a triangular panel. Pull the panel off to reveal a small set of fuses (see the back of the panel for the fuse map). To power down the central locking you need to remove the Dome Light fuse, this is located top left.

A new technology for simplified everyday use is the Hands-Free Tailgate, whereby drivers open the boot with a simple movement of the foot.
i have the C4 7 seater Grand Picasso Mk2 2014. when I open the car with the fob it only opens the driver's door. The front passenger door will only open from inside but the two rear doors don't open from inside or out, they are completely locked. It's really annoying. any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Can't find the additional fuse box allocated BHF3 in the passenger compartment. Info I have is from car-box.info. Looking for the boot switch fuse. Seems to be one here as F9 or F20. Two fuse panels inside the glove box but no idea where the 3rd is. Boot won't open but figured check the fuse before taking any panels off.
Joined: Aug 07 2015. Location: Hampshire. I've read reports of rear spoiler cracking on the C4GP, but today I found this when cleaning my 2015 C4P. The crack is in the horizontal surface at the right hand side of the spoiler. I know I haven't caused it by misuse, so I suspect a design fault in the moulding.
Firstly check the Central Locking Pump to make sure the hoses haven't come off. This is located in the very back right hand corner of the boot so you will need to remove the carpet and internal trim and you will see a block of sponge. Carefully lift the top off this and you will see the pump sat inside it.
1.1-Test the opening of the doors of the Citroen C4 Picasso with the key. First try the central locking. To do this press the key of your vehicle. Observe if the malfunction is central. In other words do you have a single blocked door or several. If this is the case then it is likely that the malfunction is due to centralization.
To fix I pushed down on the boot which caused it to click, and then the boot would open. A spray of WD40 on the catch seemed to clear it completely. This problem affected mine during the cold snap in early 2010, so when it returned in December with the snow, I was hoping the boot would open flawlessly now the warmer weather is here.
The Citroen comfortably outdoes the Ford C-MAX in terms of boot space, as that provides 432 litres, although the Volkswagen Touran offers 695 litres and a huge 1,989 litres with its rear seats
